The company started in the year 1978 by Mr.Winnie Chandrasekera (Chairman) as a family business in the heart of Negombo Beach Side, with the intention of providing a comprehensive service all under one roof, with communication, transport, dinning, air tickets & reservations, excursions. Having over 30 years of experience in servicing the Inbound Tourist, Fortuna expanded its wings by marketing its services International, with its new management ‘’the second generation’’

With the focus of targeting the Middle Eastern Tourist Fortuna intends to open offices within the GCC within the next 2 years and aiming at large no of Arabian Tourist and the expatriates within the GCC, providing a state of the Art web based booking engine, to book their holidays in Sri Lanka. However, East European countries and Italy would be also looked at for marketing our services.

Fortuna with its own fleet of modern vehicles and experience multilingual professional tour guides ensures a enjoyable and a memorable holidays in Sri Lanka. Our paramount Importance is the safety and security of the Guest and ensuring they are receive the same service as they have booked in advance.

Having our own office complex in the heart of the Negombo beach side, which is 10 mins distance from the one & only International Airport in Sri Lanka is a great advantage for the Guest. We operate a 24 hours business, maintaining a fully equipped office with ADSL lines for Internet & Email access, hotlines for the Guest to contact in case of an emergency, standby vehicles for Airport transfers or replacements is our prime concern.
